Valence Howden is a Research Director in the CIO Advisory Group at Info-Tech Research Group. He specializes in helping organizations design their ITSM strategies and processes, conduct strategic assessments, build and implement roadmaps, and establish effective IT governance.
Valence has comprehensive expertise with 20+ years of experience in the design, optimization, and implementation of IT processes, service delivery, and Governance IT and Service-Oriented Architecture. Prior to joining Info-Tech, he served in technical and client-facing roles at Bell Canada and CGI Group Inc. as well as managing the design, integration, and implementation of services and processes in the Ontario Public Sector.
Valence’s specialties include ITIL process design and improvement, CobIT-based Governance of Enterprise IT, and Lean IT and ITSM best practices. Valence has an Honors Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto.

The Masonic Temple, Toronto, ON.
The Masonic Temple in Toronto is the former meeting place of the Masons, whose origins trace back to medieval Britain. Constructed in 1918, the temple's concert hall played host to many legendary musicians, including: The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and The Who. In 2013, Info-Tech Research Group purchased the historic Masonic Temple from Bell Media. The temple is now home to Info-Tech's Toronto Office and Innovation Lab.
